Mark Uncapher serves as the Secretary for the Maryland Republican Party. Mark is a long-time party activist who also currently serves as the Chairman of the Montgomery County Central Committee. Moving to Maryland in 1995 when the Republicans took the majority in the House of Representatives, Mark become Counsel to the Subcommittee on Government Management, Information & Technology of the House Oversight & Government Reform Committee. He also quickly became involved with the Montgomery County Republican Party’s precinct organization, first as a Regional Chair in Legislative District 16 in 1996-2000, followed by being the District 16’s Chair, 2002-2007.
Mark's past experience includes serving as the Research & Issues Director for New York State Comptroller Edward Regan, as a member of the George W. Bush Transition team, and as a Delegate at the 2012 Republican National Convention. Mark is currently the Director for Regulatory and Government Affairs at the Telecommunications Industry Association, TIA.
